I have a video of him practicing. His car control is second to none in my opinion.

Was pretty good....though there's several spots where the footage clearly wasn't the first go at it....[existing skid marks].

There's a few other 'bits of driving' out there that were definitely one-go and the potential for 'disaster' was pretty real.

Got the DVD.....haven't plucked up the courage to watch it yet.....

just finished it.... expected it to be a downer too.... but was really interesting... well put together... but I understand where you're coming from... 

wish he'd taken up the option to 'go fishing'... but such is the addiction to adrenaline sports... you'd never know what else you could have achieved....such a shame...
