Fave shows? I have a list somewhere...
1. Code: Geass (duh)
2. Lost
3. DeathNote (The Death Gods known as Shinigami posess these books known as Death Notes. Whomever has their name written in the book will die. The user of the Death Note must have the persons' name in mind while writing their name, or else the Death Note has no effect. If just the persons' name is written in the Death Note, the person shall die exactly 40 seconds after their name is written from a Heart Attack. If other means of death are specified after the persons' name, they shall happen. People sharing the same name are not affected. One of the Shinigami, Ryuk, gets bored and drops his Death Note into the human world, where Prodigy Child Light Yagami finds it. Light decides to use it to kill all the criminals in the world, and all who oppose him as well, to create a world where he is God.)
4. The .Hack// series ( in .hack// all characters are in an MMORPG. the .hack//SIGN series follows a player who's soul is trapped within their profile. The user, who's name is Tsakusa, cannot log out, and can feel and smell as well as hear and see while playing. Tsakusa is beyond the rules of the game, and can do anything. However, he does not like being trapped in a world where all he is is data, so he and his friends Mimiru and Bear go looking for a way to free him from the game. In the real world, Tsakusa's body, actually a girl, is in a vegetative state in a hospital, and her father continually threatens to pull her plug.)
5. Full Metal Alchemist (in a world where Alchemy prevailed over all other sciences, two young Alchemists, Ed and Al, live happy lives with their mother, while their father is never home. However, one day the boys mother falls gravely ill, and she dies. While Ed is furious at their father for not being there to support them, Al just mourns. However, Ed believes they can bring their mother back to life, using Alchemy. So the boys study for months about the composition of the Human Body, and how to transmute such different objects into one. Eventually, they gather all the ingredients they need, and begin the Transmutation to bring back their mother. However, due to the process of Equivalent Exchange, they fail. They didn't have what was needed to recreate her soul, so they create a monster. Not only this, but Al's body is taken away during the Transmutation, so Ed sacrifices his right arm and left leg to attach Al's soul to some nearby armor. Ed's arm and leg are replaced by automail by their friend, Winry, and the boys set off to find the Philosopher's Stone, a stone said to be able to break the law of Equivalent Exchange, so that they can set their bodies back to normal. However, once they discover the secret of the Philosopher's stone, their entire world changes...)
