I played my first Pantheon in a while today.
So the first thing I see are the icon that suggest I have new PM messages. I'm used to them, they are empty and will reappear every 30 seconds or something when I close them. There are only two atm but I don't dare to use the PM system because they might accumulate.
Next thing is that my UB keeps looping his growl until the game starts. It's fun for 20 seconds after that it gets a little annoying. Please send him to a few anger management classes... 
The box in the upper right corner tells me I'm the only one waiting for a game. Now, I do know better because I read the forums but think about the new players. I doubt they will want to wait under these conditions. They will join the first custom game they can find and will probably be stomped badly.
I didn't have to wait long btw, maybe a minute or two - and the matchup looked rather fair. Each team had one player with 200+ games and one more or less new player. Overall a very nice game. Thanks to my teammate Exdio and to Lonous for being a fair and nice opponent!
