The computer player keeps ending the game when they have up to 10 planets still is rather strange, since they used to put up a fight till the last planet. I sent a e-mail to and Ironclad said thats a apart of the AI being re-worked to be more challenging.
I have played two games with 6 hard computer AI all teamed together. If the AI has been re-worked to offer more of a challenge, why do they throw all their forces onto one starbase over and over and they never are able to destroy it. I am currently on my 3rd game with 6 hard computer players. I have them all team locked with each other against me. Once I got my first starbase up in my system star well and later on 1 in each worm hole well I have not had any confrontations with the computer player except against one of the wormhole starbases and the system star well starbase. Before wormhole travel is researched they throw all their forces against the system star well starbase. They been throwing all their forces against that same starbase and have never destroyed not a single starbase the entire game. They sometimes jump to the next planet with just a couple of ships but I have a starbase in all the surrounding planets also, but its never more than 5 ships and never a capital ship. The computer AI always throws the capitals against the starbase.
I would say that is a broken AI.
At least in the original sins, having 6 hard computer AI teamed against me was a challenge. Now I since the game is soo slow now I tend to que up planet development send fleet to planet to attack and watch tv for 30 minutes come back and rinse and repeat. What kind of game is this that I do not even have to be here with 6 hard computer AIs and not even be at the computer and still demolish the computer with eas. Now getting the first system clear of the hard computer players is sometimes a challenge unless I use starbases then its just a few more starbases to beat back the computer player while I advance.
