I was surprised by the lack of any Homeworld game.  The first one especially as both it and BSG have a lot in common with each other.  Most notably they both involve fleeing a destroyed home to look for a new one whose existance is known only from ancient legends/ruins.  Also, to my knowledge the Bentusi and the FIrst Hybrid(Razor) are done by the same person.

I would ditch 8,9, or 10 and put Homeworld 1 in at 1 or 2.(Its a hard choice given the current number one)

All the Homeworlds should be on that list :P The only thing BSG and Blade Runner have in common is Cylon/replicant, and that's a pretty weak link. A bunch of those games would also make you gouge your eyes out at this day and age...

Freespace 2 is a good start.  It even has a Battlestar Galactica mod.

both sins and starshatter have a good battlestar galactica mod. Offcourse u could also watch the 60s version of BSG while u wait for the new battlestar series Caprica to come out

Didn't Beyond The Red Line basically stop development though? They have a playable thing but it's unfinished..
