I don't know how many other people have had the trouble of trying to select a friendly demigod to give a heal, a bramble shield, or Oak's invulnerability shield only to have it go either to the wrong Demigod standing right next to the one intended, or worse, go to a small archer also in the center of the fray. Not only that, keeping an eye on a friendly Demigod's Health bar relies on you keeping your cursor over him instead of trying to play offensively with Sedna or QoT.
My suggestion, which is nothing new to a game like Demigod at all, is to perhaps have mini portraits or some UI element on the screen that shows a friendly Demigod's current Health and/or Mana, that can also be clicked on when activating spells like heals or buffs so the accidental "misclicking" of abilities is much harder to do. I know a lot of people here want this game to be all about APM, but requiring a player using a supportive Sedna to constantly check allied Demigods around her for anyone at low health is a little tedious. Also, knowing a friendly players mana supply will make it easier to set up any kind of attack. If you have a Sedna healing YOU, you'll know when her mana supply is low enough to stop playing uberly offensive, and if you know Rook has enough mana for a hammer smash, perhaps you'll blow your stun on that Demigod next to him.
Again, just my idea but I've been flat out amazed at how much beta user ideas have actually been implemented in the few months I've been a part of this test (or has it been half a year already??
