Glassphire Update

v1.2 will deliver something most other skins lack...

It's been a while since I last updated Glassphire, but by studying and experimenting with other skins, I've discovered someting that might change Windowblinds skins forever, a fully-animated Windowframe.

We have animated progress bars, start menus, but what about WindowFrames? No animated skin is complete without animated menus and Active Windows.

This update will also have two new substyles which feature such animations (one for Vista, and one for XP).  These are codenamed "Solar" because my Windowframe animation involves the sun moving from left to right complete with angled lighting effects on the side & bottom borders.  I know it's confusing, but once it's out there, you'll know what i'm talking about.

My one concern about this is that users might become really annoyed with the animation after a while.  That's why i'm creating new substyles, because there is no On/Off switch for animations.

So far, the "Complete" Animated Window Frame only works with XP.  I don't know why but Vista only supports animations for the Active Title Bar. (and yes, i've tested the same feature on both Vista & XP.)  That Sucks!  So this release is geared towards XP users.

Aside from animation, other changes include a change in the tab background. I've updated the tab background to have a Sun Glare as well. (Only with the "Solar" substyle)

If the Animated WindowFrame is sucessful, I would recommend Skin Developers to create their own animated WindowFrames.

WOW!  You've been busy!  And now I have to wait until Stardock is back from vacation and has the server up so I can download the latest updated version.   X(

Someday I will find a primary care physician who won't send me to a psychiatrist when I tell him I need Xanax for Windowblind updates.
