I need help with my colors

I installed mycolors .Everything starts fine. I can browse and select different themes. i go to select any theme and apply it. In particular I am attempting the SINS one . this problem I am positive is on my side but I still hope you may have some insight .
when I apply A theme It loads up some icons changes my wallpaper then switches me to windows classic view but thats where it stops.
I had a previous post and what was mentioned was antivirus software. I went ahead and added themmgr.exe to my exceptions . now what happens is.
I start my computer it loads the icons and wallpaper but not any skin or anything else .I am in classic windows also.
then I can start mycolors and reapply the sins theme and Viola everything is just fine ,I see everything I should .
So now the problem seems only happening at startup .
which confuses me .
any clue what is goin on?
I am running norton 2005 edition and the program Spysweeper. ati radion x1300 1280x1024

i got thememgr.exe added to norton exclusions already.
