So, I have all five of my home world planets set up to be habitable.
And, in my latest game I came upon a killer home system
Homeplanet has a 700% and a 100% research bonus tile.
Planet #2 has a 700% manufacturing.
Planet #3 also has a 700% manufacturing.
It is almost smack in the center of a huge galaxy map.
Yor right next to me and the Drengin close by.
Sweet.
Has to be the sweetest setup I have ever seen.
So I had saved the initial game (After laying out the initial buildings on those first two planets), and we transfered the saved game to my nephew's machine so he could play it.
Upon loading the game on his machine, there was no Meese race logo and the colonized planets (#1 and #2 at this point) do not show up at all in icon view of the main map. So we copied my logo to his machine and he sets up a new custom race as the Meese as a new game using my logo and the same race image, race name, leader name, etc, and exits. The saved game is reloaded with the same results.
Only now, when he colonizes a new planet, the graphic for the planet itself (in the closer 3D view) simply disappears. The rings are still there, but no planet and still no race logo.
Planets 1 and 2 still show, but 3 and 4 are empty space aside from the rings.
This is the first time we have tried exchanging a game, so I have never run into this before.
Just wondering if it was a normal thing with loading a saved game on a different machine.
We are using exactly the same mods and the same raceconfig info.
