I used to have OD. I lost everything with a ssd drive failure. I only really use Fences. If I buy fences, is it a permanent licence?

I bought object desktop last year. At no point did I think it was a subscription. It's a piece of software. I transferred over to a new pc and it's telling me my sub has expired. I get sub software when it's pricey but to pay every year for using OD, no thank you.
