Multiplicity & TeamSpeak

Multiplicity works great. I love it! However, I've been using TeamSpeak for a very long time (nothing has changed), and ever since I installed Multiplicity, TeamSpeak has been locking up. It becomes completely unresponsive. Not only the "press to talk" button, but the entire application. Closing it and restarting fixes the problem until I start moving between machines again. I have been unable to determine the exact cause of the lockup. It's driving me crazy though, as I must alt-tab out of my games to terminate and restart TeamSpeak.

Which version of Multiplicity and Teamspeak are you using?

Have you tried disabling Clipboard sharing in Multiplicity to see if that has any effect?

Is this a consistently appearing issue?

I'm using the latest versions of both. Multiplicity Pro 1.02 and TeamSpeak 2 2.0.32.60

I have not yet tried turning off the clipboard, but I'll give that a try and let you know.

OK, clipboard sharing is off, and TeamSpeak locked up tight... And yes, it's a consistently appearing issue. I'm not sure what I'm doing that makes it lock up (it seems random) but I sometimes forget I'm on the other machine and I try to talk on TeamSpeak.

I get this using DesktopX as well. One reason why I really dont use desktopX
But there is one I really like now ... and would like to find the problem.

Hi all,

Bought Multiplicity Pro last night, installed, and yes, TeamSpeak issues

. I didn't even try to disable the clipboard because it's one of the main reasons I got Multiplicity. Also running the latest TS. Any more info on this issue?

In the multiplicity directory in program files there is a tool called EventFilter run it (on primary) , and add the push to talk key (and other hotkeys you might use in vent/ts) to the default exception list (the add button on the bottom , not the top one)

Save , restart multiplicity .

Run teamspeak on >primary< .

Check if things keep running fine now.. , i'm curious if this will help.

I've just set that. Will try it out tomorrow and let you know. Thanks for the tip, if it works I'll be very happy seeing as this problem was reported in 2005 and is still driving me mad in 2008!

I've had the same problem.

I have found that the cause appears to be related to hitting mouse button 4(i.e. back button) while on the secondary machine. This is also the key I have for Push to talk on Teamspeak.

It only seems to occur If I hit push to talk while on the other machine. When I return to the primary, I see that teamspeak is locked up and I have to restart it.

Hopefully this info helps people, as I still use both programs together, I just try not to use push to talk on secondary machines.
