At the end of 2024, we released Multiplicity 4 – the easiest way to work with multiple PCs on the same network. Packed with new features like Seamless Display ™, multi-monitor streaming, and a lot more, it’s a big upgrade from Multiplicity 3.
This week, we have released the first update for Multiplicity 4 that improves performance and makes it easier to diagnose remote connections that do not establish as expected. Along with bug fixes, there are several improvements to KVM mode as well.
If you haven't updated yet, you can manually search for the update by opening the Multiplicity 4 configuration panel, click About, and Check for Update.

With this release, KVM, using our proprietary ControlStream™ v4 technology, reduces the bandwidth used when a device is idle. Further, there are improvements to reduce memory usage and improvements to the performance of the streams too.
Multiplicity 4 is a software KVM that allows you to share a keyboard, mouse, and display across your network and is key part of Stardock’s growing home and enterprise software solutions.
All of the feedback to improve the application comes from feedback from users like you. If you haven’t joined our community you can talk with other Multiplicity and Windows users in our forum.
If you haven’t experienced Multiplicity 4 yet, you can download a free trial and learn more about the application on its website. And like all of Stardock’s innovative solutions, it is included in Object Desktop and Object Desktop for Business.
