Shortcut List has entry that is empty

Cannot delete shortcut

I am using Start11 v2.51 on Windows 10 Pro. I tried to create a shortcut to a mapped drive, for some reason I ended up with a blank label and cannot delete that shortcut. Even when I highlighted it and then click on the delete button on the right it stays there. I can rename the label but then I get a duplicate shortcut with the same name. I can move it up and down but still cannot delete it. I have created others and able to delete them but not this one.

Is there any way to manually delete this label without having to reinstall the Start11?

  2. Your Windows 10 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response.

Attached are 3 screenshots. 1st one is the Windows version via Winver as requested. The 2nd and 3rd showing the empty label both in Windows Start and in Start11 v2.51 (just updated to latest version now still same issue). When I highlight the empty label that I want to delete it prompts me if I am sure I want to, but it never deletes it. 

Hopefully there is a way. Thanks.

Hi Mazen Khatib,

Thank you for posting.  I was able to reproduce this on Windows 10 and this has now been logged for review:

Internal Ref: ODNT-9477

It seems to occur when attempting to add a network location to the shortcut list.  I expect that's what you did also.  One way I found to remove it on my end was to save a backup of my settings to a file and then restore the settings from that file.  The shortcut list seemed to clear from that.  This can be done from the Settings backup tab.
