I'm using WindowBlinds on a high-resolution 4K monitor, and while the themes look stunning, I occasionally notice minor lags or UI glitches. Are there specific settings or adjustments I can make to optimize performance without sacrificing the visual quality? Any advice on compatibility with other applications or tweaks for smoother operation would also be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I am using Windowblinds on my 4K monitor, but I don't see lags causing by WB on my system. Need more information on your system.

Windowblinds full version number.
Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get it.
Is the issue on specific WB style? If so need name of these style.
Is the issue on specific application? Need the name of the application.
Do you have any other 3rd party application that also change Windows GUI, such as StartAllBack, ExplorerPatcher etc.
A video of the issue would also help us understand it better.
