I have a Favourites link in Start 11 but when I click on it I get a message - Access denied - can anybody help me correct this? (I am the administrator and logged in as such)
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system and issue.
Thank you.Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Windows 11 - Ver 23H2 - Build 22631.4169
Start 11 v2.11
Great, below, is what I see on my system with Favorites added. And it work without issue.
Please check if on your system you can get to your Favorites folder.
Thank you,

When I hold my cursor over 'Favourites' I get a greyed out box which say 'Access Denied'
I can only access my favourites folder using file explorer.
Please try this, do backup setting to a file. Uninstall Start11, choose remove setting, reboot system as soon as uninstall done. Re-download Start11 v2.11 again from you account download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again after installation done. Once that done, before doing Restore setting from your saved backup. Just try add Favorites again to your Modern style start menu. And see the issue still there. If it is working you can proceed in restore backup setting. Report back.
No joy - still access denied
Hello,I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
'Favorites' (a Windows item, not Start11) does not resolve to what you likely think it does, its for legacy (IE) browser items that may not be accessible if you have disabled IE (yes, its that old).
