First off, great addition in the way of grouping icons together (folder groups). It brings back alot of functionality that I feel was worthwhile in Windows 10 start menu and is now present in Start 11 via the Windows 10 or 11 styles. That's really awesome! I grouped several related icons together (like the MS office suite) and enjoy now being able to click on one icon to expand them all when those tasks are needed. I right clicked on this group thinking of how awesome it would be to customize the icon to something like the main Office logo, but there is not a way to do so. I thought, with the addition of your new ability to pick an icon in the new context menu, would it be possible to add this functionality to a grouped set of icons?
Secondly, when getting Start11 up on my freshly installed Windows 11 laptop, I can't figure out a way to center the task icons and leave the start button on the left. I have this functionality on my desktop in Windows 10 with Start11 installed, but it seems to be missing on Windows 11. Is there no way to separate the start button on the left and keep the task bar icons in the center? If not, I would like to add this as a feature request, since it would add consistent behavior to the product from users using it on Windows 10 and then upgrading and using it on Windows 11.
Feature request summary:
- Ability to pick an icon for grouped tiles.
- Ability to left-align the start button, but center-align the tasks on the taskbar in Windows 11 w/Start11 (like you can do in Windows 10 w/Start11)
As always, thanks for the amazing product and for giving your customers a voice here.
