So I’m in the midst of setting up some scheduled tasks to auto sleep and wake my pc and I came across something curious I’ve yet to up until now.
I enabled the “lock secondaries when you lock primary” type-setting.
it works well enough. Windows+L locks them all. Entering the password logs them all back in - great!
well enter - sleep.
my primary goes to sleep, poof locks the other pc I might still be working on or have something running on that won’t run in a locked state.
I request that the lock setting be limited to you know - locking the pc.
perhaps a checkbox to break this stuff up “Lock other PCs when locking primary” then “sleep other pcs when sleeping primary” perhaps. Finally, a box for “lock other pcs when sleeping primary” I guess if people want that (how it’s currently behaving)
In it’s current state I have no choice but to not use the feature which stinks.
i presume multiplicity has no means to discern between sleep or lock? Perhaps make an option to have it purely detect the lock hotkey combo or something?
for people who work from multiple pcs, who have different active hours, different sleep timers, or random schedules depending on workload at the time - talk about annoying!
