Behavior is awkward when using multiple monitors

I'm using Groupy 1.18 on Windows 10.
But, an behavior is awkward when using multiple monitors.

The procedure is as follows.
1. Setup multiple monitors. (monitor A, monitor
2. Create an Explorer window on the monitor A, and *maximize*. (window A)
3. Create another Explorer window on the monitor B. (window
4. Drag the window B to the window A, and group.

Then, the window A moves to the monitor B.
I think the window A should remain on the monitor A.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

1) Windows 10 version numbers : use Winver.exe.

2) Multi monitor setups. Resolution and scaling applied on each monitor.

3) Configuration on monitor : Permanent extended or docking stations/plug in and out extended monitor.

4) Best if you could provide us with video grab of the issue.

Thanks for your investigation.

1) Windows 10 version numbers : use Winver.exe.
It is Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.253)

2) Multi monitor setups. Resolution and scaling applied on each monitor.
Both are 1920x1080 and 100%.

Oh, sorry. I can't understand this question.
Because my TOEIC score is 235
But, i'm not using docking stations.

Great, thanks for the information. Sadly, I can't reproduce your problem. I have similar configuration as yours.

Dual monitor with 1920x1200 with 100% scaling. But when I did what you did my explorer stay on 1st monitor when I drag explorer to group from my second monitor.

A question, is the issue happened all the time or at random?

It is all the time.

I see. This may be the problem of my computer.
Some of the applications I installed may be doing bad things.
I will try reinstalling the OS.
No further investigation is necessary.

Before doing that, please try the purge and reinstall steps mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling

Just re-download the installer from your account. And install it. Reboot, retest it and see if its help. Report back here.

I performed a clean boot, but the result was same.

The procedure was as follows.
1) Created an Administrator account.

2) Signed in with this account.

3) Disabled all services.

5) Rebooted.

6) Run GroupyStart.bat
But it failed. System error 1058 occurred.

7) Changed Startup type
So, I Changed Groupy's Startup type from 'Disabled' to 'Manual'.

8) Run GroupyStart.bat again.
Successfully started.
But, the behavior was the same.

If my procedure was wrong, please mention it.

When you said "reinstalled" did you run the groupyPurge.bat file before reinstalling?

I ran groupyPurge.bat before reinstalling.
But the result was same.

Because Internet connection is required to activate Groupy.
8) Activate Groupy
9) Disabled all services, and rebooted.
10) Changed Startup type
I Changed Groupy's Startup type from 'Disabled' to 'Manual'.
11) Ran GroupyStart.bat again.

I will restore the OS to the state immediately after installation.
And I will check reproducibility.

Amazing...
I restored the OS to the state immediately after installation. (Windows 10 Version 1809 OS Build 17763.1)
But, the behavior was same...
Is my hardware bad?

I am getting a somewhat (perhaps) related problem with multiple monitors and Windows 10 -- three monitors; and Outlook.exe 2010; with Outlook and Firefox grouped and displayed in the center monitor, in less than full screen, when I open an email by clicking on it, the entire group window shifts to partly on the monitor to the left.  I then have to pull it back, and reduce the size.

Happens every time I open an email; doesn't happen if Outlook isn't grouped with another application.

It's only when opening an email message, otherwise is fine.
