In Windows 10 Build 15063, why do icons show as the Windows default, (1), with native players set as default, (WMP, Groove), but with a 3rd party player set as default, they look proper?
I just upped my OD subscription cos it had expired, and according to the info page linked to in the OP, I should have it included with my new OD sub
Yup, just installed and activated IP 10, no wurries.
Now I'm gonna have a play before bed.
WMP does not skin so I'm thinking that if native players are set as default its as if IP does not see it. Xion skins nicely and set as default IP sees it and folders and such skin accordingly. IMO
It does, but I believe it is a different process to what's done here. Microsoft released a few WMP skins over the years, and commissioned various artists and skinners to create some. The Skins Factory, who posted a few skins here a while back, created some, as I recall.
Ok. I sit corrected.
You can lay down if you like.
This is really annoying.
Any time I invoke an 'Open with'/'Go to' dialog, it changes all icons in those windows back to default, each and every window while navigating through the dialog!
Any thoughts please? Thanks.
