Menu Icons are Black Silhouette Figures?

I just upgraded to Start 10 1.08 and all the icons in the left column of the start menu are black silhouette figures. I see very little color in the whole menu.  Is this a configuration setting, not sure what happened, it looked much better with Start 10 1.0.  Thanks.

Here is a screen shot of what I am talking about.  Does everyone else's Microsoft built in icons look like this in Start 10 with version 1.08?  It just doesn't look right?

Nothing should have changed in that regard.  Did you perhaps use the Modern theme before where they would have been white on a darker background?

Most of the Microsoft icons for Universal apps are monochrome.

I suspect the reason you have noticed now is 1.0 did not show the standard prepopulated Universal apps in that list and 1.08 is now so you are seeing those apps which you did not see before.
