Object Desktop Infinite

why 3.99 per month vs renew for 29.99?

I need a bit more information on ObjectDesk INFINITE.

To renew Object Desktop, it is 29.99 and I continue for another year.  If I subscribe monthly to Object Desktop Infinite, it is 3.99 per month or closer to $49 per year.

What is the difference?  

I have sent several dozens of people to use your Start8, and want to use Start10 beta, but I can't find the Serial, so I look at my upcoming renewal of ObjectDock, and 4.99 is an easy sell for Windows 8 / upcoming Win10.  

3.99 per month is a bit different of a sell, when basically many would use Start10 and maybe Deskscapes in Win10-preview.

I don't understand the Infinite subscription being almost $20 more per year, monthly.  Or do I get the same thing, and just buy it cheaper annually for 29.99 renewal?

There is no difference between the two. I guess the $3.99 is for people that are on a budget and can't pay the $29.99 price.

Actually there is a difference.

ObjectDesktop infinite subscriptions when expired will not let you continue to use the software.  The standard ObjectDesktop subscription will allow this, but obviously you do not get any updates once the subscription has expired.

there must be a better reason. if one can not afford those 29 dollars, spending any amount of money for desktop customization software is plain idiocy.

I would strongly recommend the annual subscription for two reasons - price and indefinite use of the apps (always remember to download and archive).  Not sure I can fathom paying $10/yr more to get less (apps vaporize when you don't renew).  Seems a strange marketing plan to my simple mind.  And I still contend the "infinite" tag is at minimum inconsistent with the product 'features'.

I could see a new customer wanting to fully test drive all the products for a month or two before committing to a new full subscription price.  Otherwise I agree that the annual subscription is a much better arrangement, particularly if it's a question of "Renewal" as opposed to a new subscription.
