star 8 is the best software ever for anyone that wants the feel of prior windows operating systems and there are a lot of us out there, and there are the people of coarse that like the modern ui in windows 8 and 8.1 that's great each to his own liking as they say, but really star dock should get  more than a handshake from the giant Microsoft for making such a stupid blunder does ms not know there are two different variety of consumers out there how simply ridiculous of them to say  the very least, they should have came out with a desktop version and a ui version software, darn tiles and such are not for everyone very one sided of Microsoft for sure, if anything star docks start 8 will boost there sales and downloads of windows 8 if anything why does ms think there sale of windows 8 are down compared to there other operating systems, it does not take a professor to figure that one out for sure, so star dock thanks a bunch for making us the desktop users very happy indeed you certainly deserve all the credit you can get for this, as for ms wake up and smell the coffee and stop being so one sided with your valued customers that have been contributing to your valued profit margin over the years. again a big THANK YOU start dock from all of us desktop users over the years.  version 1.31 works seamlessly on 8.1.
