Hi,

here the german language file that I created for my personal use and want to share with you.

Notes about the translation:

1) Some of the strings are not MS Windows conform. I did this on purpose because I find the official MS german translation totally inadequate

Example:

"Shuffle" -> "Mischen" (huh??) --> "Zufällig" (the korrekt translation should be "Zufällige Reihenfolge" but unfortunatelly this string doesn't fit)

"Clear all" -> "Alles Löschen" (huh?? You don't "delete" a selection but clear it) --> "Alles abwählen"

2) I also tranmslated 1 string differently than the original EN string because I think it fits better in the Configuration options list than the original EN string:

Used "Start screen" instead of "Background" --> "Startbildschirm" (where you find all the options for the Start screen)

If you don't like it you can change it to "Hintergrund" (direct translation from "Background"

3) Also some strings/words don't fit in the program layout/predefined frame space, but there is no possibility to use a shorter word in german so maybe Stardock could increase the space for the localized translations or reduce the font size:

"Settings"

"Stop parallax effect when the edge of the image is reached rather than tiling on wider than screen size images"

"Where should backgrounds be loaded from?"

4) Some DE-strings are not replaced in Windows 8.1 eventhough they are in the lang file

These are, for example, popup windows

5) Some strings are the same as the ones from start8 and I used them for decor8. All credits go to the person who translated them.
