By the threads from the eager beavers that can't wait to download beta versions one might surmise that there will be compatibility issues between the different versions of SKS and WB. If history repeats itself, and it usually does, I'm sure at some point I'll have to upgrade to WB8 and SKS8 in order for my uploads to work correctly even though I will not be upgrading to Win8 (with <4% of market share). No big deal, I've had to do it before and actually expect it to happen again, and again.
One of the things that I hope get fixed in SKS8 is the next button at the bottom left portion of the screen. In the current version there are pages that are skipped when only using the next or previous buttons. These have been mentioned before and ignored but if you're releasing a new version it would be nice to make the corrections.
I'd like to see some screen shots of what's new in SKS8.
Has the interface changed?
Are there new features for skinning for win7?
Can I make graphics for win8 without having win8 installed and will there be a representation graphics within SKS to show what it looks like?
At what point in time will it be required to have the newer versions installed?
The "eager beaver" comment was not meant to be derogatory but to point out that you are unpaid and underappreciated beta testers. I do however appreciate your efforts and hope that your suggestions are taken seriously and we all get a better product as the end result.
