I have 0.87 and I can scroll up when I cast a spell, and open the spell book again. It remembers my position and I can immediately scroll up.
I just checked again. I can confirm, I have no problem scrolling up. I do not have to scroll down first.
I thought I was playing .87, but I was still playing .85.
