Very nice intro, Ben. I served in Germany in 1973-1974 in Sandhofen so I know first hand how wonderful the people there are. I was in a signal unit that set up radio sites all over the place so I got to see a good deal of the beautiful scenery. It was 18 great months. The food (and beer) was excellent also. My Great grandparents were from Germany, and my Granparent's neighbor was a very sweet old woman from Germany and I ran around with her grandson when I visited which was part of the reason I wanted to be stationed there. Best of luck pursuing your dreams.
I spend a good part of my childhood early teens with folks from the US stationed here, folks from Lincoln Village (that was close to Darmstadt) and then after i moved I lived near Rammstein.
People here are good, they just have a different mentality and are a little cold from the outside but once you get to know us we are great folks and you will notice you will get drunk here pretty quickly if someone likes you.
And yes we have some of the best brews but they should be handled with care when you’re not used to them.
I'd tell you Ben, but then...
^^ yeah those black suite guys are not to mess with… so no more questions
quoting postin the end we all have one goal to ake windows look great and that makes us a small family even if we had conflicts in the past.
You left out the most important reason that we’re all here; to have fun!
Absolutely
