Is it possible to show the image-numbers in Settings>Background?

Either on/under the image, on mouse-over, or as a link?

For example;

 I have pictures of my skinks, and since they are shy I take a series of photo`s, they flee at sight. 

The image I use as a background for my Lock-screen and Start-screen are the same.

However, in the Start-screen the image is displayed 90 degrees rotated to the left.

Since Settings>Background can collect all images available it would be nice to know what image to alter.
