[1.20b] Population/Building brocken

The population-building is realy mest up. Here are some pics from my 1st game.

It shows the 25 pop is required to build but uses 50.

The population demands are ludicrous. In my last game, which was on a larger map, I needed about 20,000+ people after conquering 4 different factions. For most of the game, I was unable to train new units.

The whole thing of where buildings tend to cost more over time, if you can build many in a settlement, automatically applies to any buildings you manage to capture. I almost built no buildings throughout my game as the population upkeep was crippling as is.

Issue with expanding resource requirements in a game for buildings. When you conquer an enemy city those building get added to your civilization at the new cost = bankrupt population requirements/impair your civilization. All you can do is either raze the city of demolish most of its buildings. Recommend geometric growth per city and this should avoid this with a possible allowance for conquered buildings…?

I updated a 1.2a game and it is now so screwed for population as a resource I might as well restart, and I don't do the 'one big city' for tech research like some do.

Makes me think you guys are really bad with math...

Yes, except that I've been razing non-food-producing captured cities and nuking non-essential buildings and I'm still hopelessly in the hole. Food is about -80 and population needed is more than 2x what I have. I give up till the next update
