The stunt was a stupid lie and very, very poor taste. First thing i did after reading about the "closure" was to check if i had whether is still had FO/FO2 installers (and the others, which i still had) on my harddrive. Of course i didn't have them. I almost pirated them but the promise that you can download them in Thursday kept me from doing that.

Next they tell, it was joke (or something) and open up to just to reveal some f*****g stupid FB integration and new UI. YOU HAD TO F*****G CLOSE THE SITE TO DO THAT AND LIE??? Yeah. It was their right techically, their TOU allows closure without warning but no company would really do that. Well, no respectable company would do that.

They sure as hell lost one customer. Downloading AND burning my GoG games to a DVD just to be sure... And from now on i'm sticking to Impulse and Steam now. And ironically, at least Impulse has something i'd like to buy, something GoG also offered.

Trust is something you can only have once. Lose it and it is gone forever. And yes, i really belive know that. Confirmed once again.
