Ok, first of all: sorry for my bad english
, dont know it well ,but the situation is forcing me to make this post.
I love strategy games, have played many of them alot. So i think i can objectively estimate elemental, and in my opinion – this game is horrible. Many good ideas and very weak realisation. At this moment it is like on beta stage with AI turned off. And i think there is no quick way to fix that. In case if developers concentrate on right things, IMHO, there is 6 – 12 month needed to make this game playable (interesting) and 12+ month to make it fun
. And i dont know why there is some resourses used to make the stupid campaing part 2 instead of testing and balancing. Therefore i propose to post your suggestions on *What is the primary task must be?*.
In my opinion the primary tasks must be:
1)The creating of deep, good working and balanced magic system, (wich is fun even without other elements of game) and the creating AI that can use this system and challange player. Without AI this game is dead.
2)Huge improvements to the tactical battles, tactical AI, and making a difference between units (make units unique) - this game must be the WAR of MAGIC, and this components must be primary fun.
I dont know why the AI in this game is sooo bad, but i hope there is a people in stardock that can say: yeah, elemental is boring and it is still beta, but we learn our lesson and tomorow we will hire additional devs for AI development and the team will concente on sings that is important
