Notable Location Level 3, your level 1.

Of course I have level 2 for the huts that appeared.  When I researched level 3 dungeons, I had new stuff appear, yadda, yadda, but for the magic well and the ones that appeared with out my research, my notable location level stayed 1.  Yet on the places that appeared when I researched the dungeon techs, it went from 2 to 3, as expected.  It just never raised for many locations, such as this magic well, ever, in any game.  It always lists itself as level 3, while I am a 1.  For the things I caused to appear with my research, things fit accordingly such as their level 2/3 and my level 2/3.  I am taking it this is another bug listing me as a constant 1 no matter what I research?

Research adventuring. Take the option that isnt reveal resources or recruit heroes.

i think i didn't research it at all, yet lvl 3 stuff mentioned above spawned upon loading savegame.

oh right, i dont think research alone spawns higher level goodie huts.. Atleast in games where i've completely ignored adventuring at the start there have been lvl 2/3 goodie huts spawn. You do need to research that to get them though regardless of why they showup.

mind you.. there were some messages about some idiot bumping into a nasty monster lair/etc (not immediately before that)... think that's what caused it?

 

still.. it shouldn't just appear when loading savegame..

That thread sorta helps but I thought I already knew this, and in my current game all the notables bumped up without me doing anything in adventure tech (maybe AIs can bump it, it should be global).

The screwier thing was that I TRIED to raise my notable level to match the content.  I had NL 2 and 3 stuff around to explore.  I research.  Now the NL 2 stuff showed 2:2 (I could mess with them).  The NL 3 stuff showed 3:1 ... which is a bit confusing.  I didn't see any new quests, these were just goodie hut type things.  Seems like the 3:1 should've been showing 3:2...

I dunno, this stuff seems to be behaving differently in 1.06 than it did before.
