Hello
I get licenced with Tweak7, but the main feature why I get this licence has aborted during the process.
I have two users : Root (administrator) and Michka (standard).
I want Michka's profile in Win7 be located in E:\Win7\Michka, which is a 600Go partition in a raid5 volume, along with the Windows 50Go partition on the same raid5 volume.
I used Tweak7 to move the profile Michka in a session under Root user, as explain by tweak7.
But this operation failed during the move of apparently application data of Microsoft Media Player (not completely moved and there is two target 'Media Player' folders as below).
The error leads tweak7 to ask me choose Retry / Ignore / Cancel. Retry many times brings to loop in this again and again. I tried Ignore, aiming, as mentionned, to complete manually the move of the files, hoping tweak7 will update the registry.
When I get in target 'E:\Win7\Michka' folder, I saw what it appears to me as a bug. the folder's tree were like this.
E:\Win7\Michka\Appdata\local\Microsoft\<several folders here, including 'Media Player'>
E:\Win7\Michka\Michka\Appdata\local\Microsoft\Media Player\<empty folder>
As you can see, there were two folders Michka, one subfolder of target upper Michka folder, which is not like the source folder tree.
And It appears that there was two files Ntuser.dat, one in C:\utilisateurs\Michka (~130KB), and one in E:\Win7\Michka\ (~800KB).
When I loged in as Michka, after mannually move (and forced several, apparently shared / used by windows7 even when loged in as root, move including a media player '*.db' file), It runs fine during some time, but I loosed background diaporama, and the screen's widgets I had before the tweak7 operation. Then Windows explorer fget very slow (not usable), and I ctrl-alt-del, choose stop computer, and it vanished (black screen) after 'Stop in progress' screen, but did not powser off during a long time, and I turned power off manually.
How could I get the 'move a user profile' successful?
For now, I get back to the restore point Tweak7 made and it seem back all right (excepted the loose of background and on screen widget which remains after restore point).
Thank you in advance
Michka
