Stardock - The Unresponsive Ability Bug Is NOT Fixed!

This is just to let you guys know, that the unresponsive Demigod bug is still here and hasnt been fixed as you guys thought it was. When I swarm > bite my Erebus sits there doing nothing, same applies to when I try to Venom Spit my UB will often just sit there doing nothing - same with Sedna/QoT. Its really quite gamebreaking, but I remember hearing a Dev saying that it was fixed in this patch, but you guys need to know it is not.

Yup, I've still seen it with Sedna's heals on my teammates. She'll just turn towards them or follow them but not actually cast the spell. I have to issue a move command before it will cast. I'm starting to think that you have to actually cast before she stops moving otherwise it does it again. Would need to pay closer attention next time though to be sure.

Yes, we aware that there seem to be other causes of the same or a similar issue that GPG fixed, and they will be looking into it.

I'm still getting it too. I thought it may be my mouse or USB hub, but with so many others having the same problem I doubt it.

One new thing I've seen in the current patch is that sometimes Sedna will turn towards the target, then pause for half a second or a second, and then start casting Heal.  A couple times I've accidentally cancelled the cast because I thought I had to issue a move command to un-stick her, and of course I issued it just as she started to cast.

I actually experience it most often with Pounce on Sedna, and the patch has not fixed it.

I will have to double-check that, but I think the bug doesnt pop out when you cast Heal on yourself, but more when its on an ally, so maybe it has something to do with casting on something else than yourself, be it ally or foe.

If anything it's worse now.  Needs a fix ASAP.

I've seen it with Sedna, Oak, Erebus, Queen of Thorns, and Torchbearer.  Anything that requires you to target an ability on a hero.

Its been in since start of beta and we have been complaining about it ever since (about 4 months+?), and they only decide to fix it now

Its horrible with Erebus. seems like Erebus is stuck on his own bullshit after casting Batswarm and won't do anything for a good 1second, not even move.  This naturally sucks because, what does any player do right after batswarm?  Thats right, bite, then try to whittle him down while he is slowed.  Now, its batswarm, he runs, i run after him and he reaches tower before i get a bite on him... LAMESAUCE.

I'm pretty sure it only happens with generals and only when you have some type of minion. I've never had it happen with TB or Reg, but it happens every single game I play a general (constantly) and it's especially bad with QoT.

I'm with chaosnaska; bite is still pretty bugged, particularly after bat swarm.  This is especially a problem when the enemy runs into their towers and I teleport because I usually need the bite to hit them right away, or else they'll get too far out or the towers will kill me.  I shouldn't have to deal with this "risk" of bite being bugged at bad times, especially after this nerf.

I used to get it alot with every demigod.  For me, it now happens alot less.  I have mostly played UB and Erebus since the fix, and it does happen to me more with Erebus.  But thats likely because I play UB with less abilities then Erebus.

With QOT, it happens when I tell her to switch forms. Also, my Shamblers are LAZY. They don't seem to attack towers as they should

Quite true, then you gotta watch them run away with like 150 health. God, that's the worst cuz you know you were robbed.

Happens when Erebus uses bite, and once it happened whenever I tried to use a teleport scroll. That was annoying.

I get it a lot with Erebus and UB. Before and After patch.

 

It usually happens when I queue up a second skill while the first one is going through.

 

Spit -> Grasp

 

Bat -> Bite

 

*proceeds to sit there while the enemy runs away*
