I've been neglecting Pantheon matches a lot, although those I have played I enjoyed a lot despite the randomness of being put in good or bad teams, because I've been trying to figure out the Torch.
What I've so far found, but maybe I'm just rubbish: is that he effectively only had 3 spells compared with the 4 available to others(although I haven't experienced how the similar 'stance' mechanic works with Queenie). The most effective method of levelling appears to be concentrating on the spells of just one stance, dabbling in the other only to get Fire and Ice at level 15, so if you are Frost you have an effective high-damage finisher from Fireball and if you spec Fire you have a strong opening debuff from Deep Freeze: each the most major demigod-killing element of both stances.
I've not been able to find a more balanced way of combining Fire and Frost stances more equally. If you try to split between them, the end result are spells so weak that even using all you have in one stance and switching to the other stance won't be of any net benefit, even though rapid stance changing partially reproduces the effects of both Fire and Frost auras, saving six skill points.
The Unclean Beast is my best character, but he seems to be everyone on Darkness' best character. Torch is the other popular powerhouse and I'm keen to know what ideas others are coming up with when playing him.
