Hi Everyone,
After sending my post below, I found the solution to the problem. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck! In this instance there were two bad pixels in the graphic. Checked the backup copy and it was fine so not sure what happened but I fixed the pixels and the menus look fine.
Geesh!
This is my first post on this forum so please bear with me if it's been covered before. I'm still relatively new to WB and Skin Studio but I'm getting there. If only making a living didn't take up so much of my time!
I recently installed IE 8 and experienced the shrinking of search boxes, etc. (anything Java). This was solved by the latest WB update (along with a Java update). However, I still have one minor problem.
In the dropdown menus, I see two black pixels approximately in the middle of the menu screens. They are in the background just hanging out. This is occurring in both Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer. However, I did not have the problem until I installed IE 8. Everything else is perfect. It doesn't seem to affect anything except that it's bugging me!
The problem goes away if I unload WB but that's not a viable option as I really like what I have (so far) and I could go back to IE 7. I suspect the problem may be font related?
I've included my system info below and a link above so you can see what I am talking about. This is an HP m7170n media center PC with a dual core 3 GHz processor and 4 GB of ram with an Nvidia 8600GT video card. I just updated the Nvidia drivers so I know they are up to date. Any ideas will be great appreciated.
