Object Dock and Desktop queries

what exactly will i get

Right, Im looking into purchasing Object Dock and/or Desktop, but before i hand out the cash I would like to know two things:

The 'subscription'. Is this a subscription to get updates and support for the product or is it for that And for being able to use the product? So if I bought either now and didn't renew next year would i still be able to use them, but without updates and support?

ObjectBar in Object Desktop states that it can:

Design your own Windows desktop bars. Sidebars, finders, docks and more are all possible with ObjectBar. (Supported on Windows XP 32-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit & 64-bit)

As it says it can design docks, does this mean objectdock is included in Object Desktop?

Edit: also, will there be any support for solo cards in the near future? It would really help me as it would mean i could cut out the middle men (parents) and buy what i want when i want (the point of having solo)

ObjectDock is a stand-alone app. You get all updates between major versions. So if you bought now (v1) you would have to buy v2 when it was released. [if you wanted. You could use v1 forever.
ObjectDesktop is a subscription. You get all updated apps for a year. ObjectDock isn't included at htis time. ObjectBar is (along with a bunch of other awesome apps)
