Welcome to all,
As the title thread expresses, the -DOME- recruits players of any horizon to join its ranks. Recruits in the sense that it is searching for new strategists who think they can handle the pressure and excitement generated in the DOME. Because in there, you don't have a second chance! You won't have to leave your current clan, TO THE CONTRARY, we would encourage you to also bring your clan along, but just create or simply add -DOME- to the start/end of your players name in order for us to qualify him as valid player.
You start with a dead asteroid, lots of resources (30K credits and 10K of both metal and crystal!), 8 combat/logistic labs, frigate/cap factory and a planetary shield generator. Easy game when you start with all that? To the contrary, the countdown timer located in the center of your base and slowly tiking away its 10 minutes of pre-time makes sure that this is one unenjoyable and stressfull ride!
What strategy to use, what is my opponent planning? With all tech trees open, possibilities are endless and thus the Dome will require you to use your wits and coldblood to efficiently scout the enemy, sabotage his infrastructures before he can build his final fleet and prepare the adequate counter!
And all this before the final gong of 10 minutes which marks the disintegration of the Timer and opening of the phase lanes! At that point, its game on! See the true meaning of strategy as you watch your fleets crumble under a false move and lack of resources to quickly rebuild a fleet (sieges posses an ability to regive credits upon enemy vessel death in radius).
