So far I really like Fences. It forces me to keep the desktop clean - if I can't put the shortcuts etc. in a meaningful group, they don't belong there. 
However, one minor complaint concerning the looks of Fences: When setting the fence titles to 'on hover', the icons inside the fence are glued to the top border. This looks really ugly. There should be a noticeable margin, preferably the same as on the left and right sides.
