this type of fighter class unit would be usefull in many ways. anti fighter and frigate in a fighter class form is just a few. if you have fewer flaks on the field then that means you can have additional frigates besides a whole screen load squad of flaks.
"Heavy Corvette Fighter" means to me that you want a corvette that acts like a fighter, not a fighter that targets heavy corvettes. Thats why I said I didnt see what you were asking for. The topic name does not adequately convey that you actually want a fighter that targets flaks.
lol a corvette that acts like a fighter? corvettes 'are' a hevier class of fighter craft thats just a tad bit heavier than a normal fighter strike craft. and your exactly right, was not talking about a fighter that targets heavy corvettes although there would have to be a counter and balance for such a corvette class that are deployed. btw this topic is all about having a corvette type of fighter ships in soase. not a fighter that targets flaks as you quoted on top saying lol.
if you would want a full load of bomber squadron without taking up space by creating fighters you would need anti fighter corvette to have them on escort formation. this is an example on what you can use corvettes for. then the other guy would have to counter you by making fighter strike craft then thats where you have to create a frigate dedicated at attacking corvettes. maybe a frigate that is as agile as the flaks but instead of chasing fighters, it chases corvettes.
no this is not about countering flaks slice, its all about corvette units for sins game. don't try to twist the topic, because its all about corvettes fighter class ships being made available for soase universe.
