I would just like to mention that the Animosity ability of the Radiance Battleship is seemingly broken right now.
I tested it out at level 2 skill (I didn't pay attention until I had upgraded it to level 2), it has absolutely no affect whatsoever. Ships within the 'afflicted radius' do not move to attack the Radiance. I found this out during a single-player game. No, indeed, they did not - instead they continued to decimate my Subjugators.
I know this is not how it's supposed to work, because in 1.02, everything in the 'afflicted radius' swiftly and immeadiately moved to attack my Radiance Battleships. I remember being the victim of an Animosity attack in 1.02 and wondering why in the hell I could not stop firing at their battlecruiser when I really wanted to kill their Mothership. It's what made me start to wonder about the Advent in the first place.
So, anyway, there it is. Animosity doesn't work, atleast not at level 2 in a single-player game. I'll go test it at levels 1 and 3 momentarily and post a reply soon.
If anyone else would like to run their own tests on this for 1.03, I would appreciate it. Because quite frankly, being the only one to have a game that doesnt handle an ability right out of a whole gaggle of players would be my kind of luck.
Anyway, off to spread some dirty thoughts for the Unity.
PS: Is it just me or do the T.E.C. AI's seem to be making absurd numbers of Cobalts in 1.03? I swear I'm seeing atleast 36 in every fight lately... is that a property of one of the AI types - and I just keep getting that type randomly? Or is it widespread?
