I tried Stormworld, but it adds a bunch of stuff in addition to 6 quests. And it won't let you just add the quests, you have to add EVERYTHING else to just make the quests work. So much for being modular... That said, Stormworld is pretty cool for what it does. I just dislike all the new factions/races and the added champions. Some of the new game stuff like hexes is kinda wonky too, but whatever, I can usually just sell the items that deals with it. I just want a more variety of quests. I love the quests in the game, I just want more different kinds of them.
It is true that Stormworld didn't end up modular. Rather it ended up in pieces so you can choose what pieces you want, but some have dependencies (which means it's not modular).
Here's an example of why my quests aren't modular: In one quest, you fight the Death Legion units (Stormworld_ExpandedFactions) in a special tactical map (Stormworld_TacticalMaps), and the reward is a Reliquary item (Stormworld_Reliquary). In fact, everything about this quest is about putting stuff together from other pieces.
I can make it modular, but doing so would require a lot of work, and it would put an additional drain on the memory of the game. In addition to that, the quests would still contain ExpandedFactions units and Reliquary item rewards, which people who "only want the quests" specifically do not want in their game anyway. In other words, the quests were built around Stormworld, NOT the vanilla game. If you came across any of the quests in an un-modded game your first thought would be "this does not fit at all".
It really was a simple decision to make.
