Hmm, finally had time to troubleshoot it a little more.
Connected my PC directly to the router via ethernet cord, and I was able to play a full game with little problems. So I guess it's not an issue with the router..?
I then disconnected the ethernet cord, and re-enabled the wireless adapter, this time being like literally 2-3 feet away from the router thinking that maybe it was just a distance issue of some sort. To no avail, the problem still persisted. So I'm guessing it's a problem with my wireless adapter (which I just got brand new the other day) or the settings I have on my router in the wireless section.
My router is a Trendnet 108Mbps 802.11g Wireless Firewall Router, TEW-452BRP with the latest firmware.
My wireless adapter is a Airlink 101, 2.4 GHz, 802.11g Wireless PCI Adapter, AWLH3028/A with the latest drivers.
I have correctly setup a static IP, and forwarded UDP ports 6073, and 6112-6132, have disabled UPnP and have "Gaming Mode enabled"
I cannot rely on keeping the ethernet cable connected as a fix, because normally I have this computer a few rooms away from the router and have no ethernet cord long enough. Also I'd very much prefer to try get the wireless adapter working so I don't feel like I wasted my money on it x.x;
Any help is appreciated from either other players, or tech support
I already sent my ImpulseReactor.log file as per Dash's instructions, but didn't include all this information in the email.
