Game lags while a whisper from AI team-mate is showing

Pretty much the title says it all. When i get a whisper from an AI team-mate (eg "Hit this guy doing this to me would ya"), the games fps drops terribly but goes back to normal after that screen has gone. It would be great if someone would help me

Any fixes?

I recall this was an issue in old versions, but it has since been resolved IIRC. Are you running the latest version of the game?

There have actually been a few scattered posts about the noticeable FPS drop with received messages post whatever patch that fixed them for most folks. Your best bet would be to email support@ironcladgames.com with your dxdiag and make sure to let them know you're running 1.05, maybe they'll know.
