the release at custo is not by me.... i have yet to aquire doodles permission... if i do eventually get doodles permission i will rebuild it with the latest build of LS...til then it will stay on my PC... thx for the heads up Csurf:)

Yo HG.

Im sure by now you are aware of the permission that was "supposetly" recieved for the upload at custo. I would also assume that you are aware of the post Jafo planted in that thread at custo. If indeed xcal got permission for that OTS 2 theme then why would he not give the Addy to Jafo.

Do you suppose that Xcal made up the permission. I'm not pointing fingers or anything, but, if he had it why want he mail the Addy to Jafo. Plus, im curious that if he does not will they just leave that theme up.

I just dont understand I guess.. It's so frustrating to me. I mean, here I am waiting for eternity to see this theme get released and then bang, someone else just blasts out a permission like it's nothing. wtf...

Im losing hope here. Im going nutz over this. Crazy MAD....!

Is this some cruel joke?
What else can I do?

while i hesitate to point any fingers. i will say that if he has gained proper permission then he will need to provide the sites admins with a way of verifying it .... if he hasnt, then it should be pulled from the site ....

While many may like the screenshot i posted of my mods/ports of the TurtleSoupll Skins... doodle may not want the various modifications i have done, released.....and since TS2 has been updated useing the original scheme.. he may not want two versions out there..No matter what the out come is,I thank you all for your support and kind words....


Doodle if you read this..Thank you for the skins/themes.. your beautiful graphics have given me years of pleasure..even after all this time TurtleSoupll Mariner is still my favorite LS theme..

C/surf "A tribute" the screen shot in question is now a "9" not a "10" anymore...along with the blue version...

I've been having a fun time reading the thread. It's hilarious! Anyway, sorry you couldn't find me all this time. I'm not exactly "back", I've been on DeviantArt for a long time and I'm just into the art really.

Can you believe it! Ok..From this I gather he is reading this thread. I wonder why he did not reply in this thread. Maybe he wants to read everything first. Anyway, here is the update. I noticed Jafo has asked him to review HG remix of Turtle Soup 2. Now all we can do is hope Doole Bug is kind enough to give us the permission.

hello there,

I was surpised to read through this thread and find such dedication in tracking me down.

I took a look at the theme in question. I'm sorry but as the theme and graphics have been modified I can not grant permission for it to be publicly released (ie. please do not post a downloadable file of the theme on any publicly accessed sites). However! I do grant permission to HG Eliminator to privately release the theme to whoever he wants to give it to (ie by e-mail, or IM etc.)

I hope this will work for you guys.

I found it hilarious to go through all the posts and read how hard it was to find me. I moved around a lot in the past 4 years and my phone number has changed about 5 times as well.

Csurfside, thanks for your support and all. I had a good time reading the posts.

Doodle. I thank you for the "Private Distribution" permission you have given..I kind of knew, in the back of my mind, that the modifications may keep it from public release, but i knew Sonique hasent had a new release in a long time and didnt want to loose out useing the skin. so i ported it to DX calendars and Weather objects.

"on a personal note" Doodle you are the reason i started working with graphics and modifying desktops.. I thank you ..


C/Surf.. sorry bud ... i just got home from work...ok give me a few days to find it in my CD archives (just rebuilt my pc) and put the final touches to it and i'll send it to ya ....sound fair ?
