Love having the new command ships to play with, they are going to be something very fun and cool to work with and explore.

Gripes!

The gold trim around research is a step back, makes the research window far more busy than it used to be and harder to tell what you researched at a glance.  The older greyed out was much easier to work with.

The AI pics of the random factions is noticeable and not pleasant.  I like having new secondary factions around but their art is not that great.

It's a BIG loss not having the art on the scenario selection screen.  The new 'art' is so minimalist it's shit.  I know the old art didn't 'mean' anything but it was so much more lovely to look at than this meaningless crap.
