Hi!
I'm seriously considering purchasing of ObjectDock for my new Windows 11 to use quicklaunch-toolbar-like functionality as I had natively in Windows 10.
So far overall experience of ObjectDock is pretty fine, very good and promising app, but I see there is one important option missing - "autohide always" or something like that. Let me explain the context:
I like my ObjectDock to stay hidden at any times and appear only on demand - so I use "show dock when mouse touches edge" option. This runs fine and dock appears on mouse hover, but then, when I run any app from dock I would like the dock to disappear at any times.
I activated the "autohide for maximized applications" option and this does *almost* what I need. When a full-screen app is lanunched from the dock the dock disappears as this is a "maximized app", but when I launch some smaller-window app (e.g. windows command line) the dock stays visible. Then when I click my mouse on some other maximized app the dock goes away, but then when I go back to this windowed-app the dock appears again.
I tried "ghost mode", but it is not providing what's needed. Of course, in ghost mode the dock is not visible, which is fine, but it's also "barely visible" on mouse hover and I can't see all the icons only those under mouse. This is not comfortable. I like to see all dock solid but only when my mouse is over it, and not see it at any other times.
Can you add some option like "autohide always" in addition to "autohide for maximized applications" to make the dock hidden on regular basis and appear only when mouse touches edge? I think more people would benefit from that. Thank you.
Regards,
JD
