Hello,
I've been using Fences for a long time and love it—it's a fantastic way to organize my desktop and folders. However, I started experiencing issues where Explorer would freeze. Opening a folder took anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds, making navigation a nightmare.
Initially, I thought it was a problem with Explorer itself, but over time I wondered if it was related to my hard drive or Windows. I tried countless solutions, including reinstalling Windows and moving to a different drive. At one point, I thought it might be a user profile issue, so I created a new profile and discarded my old one, but nothing worked.
Eventually, I decided to uninstall Fences, and the issue disappeared after months of frustration. When I reinstalled it, the problem returned. I conducted several tests—uninstalling and reinstalling—to confirm that Fences was the culprit. I'm using the latest version of Fences 3 on Windows 11.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, did you find a way to resolve it? I’d love to get Fences working again if possible.
