No Start 11 Settings on Taskbar

Retains Windows Taskbar Settings

Have downgraded W11 to W10 (clean installation) due to lag issues. So Restoring Apps and have come to Start 11 which is not working for me. I have tried 5 times to uninstall and reinstall this but I can't get it back to how it was. I want the Start11 settings to appear when right-clicking on the taskbar. Currently and regardless of anything I can find configuration wise, it still pulls up the W10 taskbar settings menu on right mouse click on the taskbar.

This is currently V2.08, and it looks no different to the windows taskbar, so little point in having it as this stage. Trying to locate the last version after the previous fiasco with it not working. Seems 1 step forward and 10 backward at this stage.

Hoping to get a previous version back and working before I loose the will to live.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, in Windows 10, you can get to Configure Start11 is by right click on an empty area on Start11 Start menu. Something like screenshot below. There is no Configure Start11 by right click on taskbar in Windows 10.

Ok, so that explains that, then, I can get it by right clicking on the Start Menu Button, but was used to it popping up on the task bar itself.

Still having issues with not being able to drag internet shortcuts I have created on the Desktop to the Task bar - and further there is no Pin to Start !! menu option when right clicking on an internet shortcut either. I've had to launch Start 11 and create a pin from there to get it to work which is another long way round. I can drag a programme shortcut to the taskbar to pin it but no Internet shortcuts.

Have you tried, instead of create a shortcut to a web page, try save as an app. I believe this is available in Edge and Chrome. Once that is done, you should be able to pin to taskbar and/or Start panel without issue.
