How do I get rid of the ghost + and X in the Group 1.5?

Groupy 1.x is not designed for Windows 11 which is why you are having this problem.
The recently released Groupy 2 does support Windows 11 (and 10) and does not have this problem with the new tabs in Windows 11 22H2 and higher.
Windows 11. Downloaded your trial of groupy 2. Is there discounts for upgrading?
Yes, I believe there is discount offer for Groupy V1X user.
