Well, since you're mucking with the taskbar, I wanted to throw out this feature request. I'm not sure if it would be possible (and I am not expecting it to be a high priority).
In Windows 10, there is a registry setting that will cause seconds to be shown with the time on the taskbar. See: https://www.howtogeek.com/325096/how-to-make-windows-10s-taskbar-clock-display-seconds/
This no longer works in Windows 11. (Not only that, they don't show seconds in the flyout when you click on the clock anywhere. I can't find anywhere where it is easy to see the "seconds" part of the time.)
If you're poking around and this looks like it would be easy to implement, I'd love to see the option to restore seconds on the taskbar clock.
